Tammy Biggers has owned Camp K-9 Resort for over 18 years. After graduating from SUNY Fredonia and spending 8 years in an office setting, I realized my love for dogs was more important than the career path I was on. So I attended The Tom Rose School for dog trainers in 1999 and became a dog trainer. After graduating there, I became involved in the APDT (Associated Pet Dog Trainers). This led me to use positive training methods in my teaching. While traveling to seminars for training, I got interested in doggie daycare and the boarding of dogs. This was my true passion, and I started my business training and taking care of dogs while owners were out of town. I pride myself on providing an environment different from most other boarding facilities. Camp K-9 is like your own home, with lots of other dogs running around and sharing the same space. I like that dogs run free and sleep on futons freely, not in cages and kennels. I have 3 dogs of my own. B, a flat-coat retriever; Tippie her daughter; and Tiki, a Pomeranian, Maltese mix. They get to share their home with many fosters, and I try to help when we can.
